NMAL Presidents LETTER OF POSTPONEMENT

Dear Friends in Martial Arts,

With deepest regret, I must inform all of my friends in martial arts that the National Martial Arts League Team Eliminations scheduled for July 19-22, 2012 has been postponed. Date not yet determined.

It was unreasonable for me to think I could get good representation of the United States sport martial arts competitors to come to Columbia and compete for the 32 team vacancies within the National Martial Arts League.

As of this date we have not reached half of the minimum teams required to implement a nationwide league. As a result we have no alternative but to postpone this glorious event until a later date.

I would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused competitors, teachers, instructors, vendors or sponsors. It is with much due regret that we must postpone this event.

It is unfortunate that we have not received the large number of team registrations we anticipated to pay out the grand prize purses and guarantee the required benefits to our sponsors for the donations they've provided and therefore we have no alternative but to return the sponsor contributions and access those resources at a later date.

To protect our reputation and the sport martial arts community, as well us your security, we have decided to move this event to a later date. Thank you, for both your patience and understanding in this matter.

Yours faithfully,
Dexter Kennedy,
President,
The National Martial Arts League
